When I first came across the eyebleach subreddit, I thought it was full of things so horrible, so deeply disturbing, that you should bleach your eyes after noticing them. But luckily I was wrong. With 3.4 million members posting only the cutest content, r/eyebleach is instead full of things to look at while you’re getting your eyes bleached out by the flood of horror on the web. Scroll and you will find a photo of three dogs with their heads resting on each other(Opens in a new tab)or a The bear cub is doing what I can only describe as a lil’ jig(Opens in a new tab)or some guy who wins a hummingbird’s trust(Opens in a new tab).

For the past few weeks, Substack conversations have been ruling the roost.

Substack isn’t without its issues, but the newly launched Chat feature for Substack writers and creators to have Twitter-like conversations with their subscribers is awesome. It’s described as “having your own personal social network where you make the rules,” and it’s very similar to AOL Instant Messenger, along with Reddit.

Do you remember that scene? Star Wars. attack of the clones, when Obi-Wan Kenobi is trying to find a planet and all the planets appear in front of him in hologram. This is basically the website version of it, without any of it Star Wars links and also it’s on your computer instead of floating in front of you. It shows a picture of the galaxy with all the stars within it, and lets you tour it, starting with the Sun.
