GMA’s George Stephanopoulos shares a personal career update amid his unexplained absence from the show
George Stephanopoulos it has been it is noticeably missing from Good morning America last week, although he still hasn’t explained where he’s been.
However, this week, the GMA star made a rare post on her Instagram feed, revealing some very personal career news.

Cute Baby It’s George’s good friend, Brooke Shields, and it was produced by his and his wife Ali Wentworth’s production company, Bedby8productions.

Pretty Baby premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, and will be available to watch on Hulu on April 3rd.

The documentary was promoted by George’s GMA colleagues earlier this year, and Lara Spencer read his description on the show.
George Stephanopoulos is a good friend of Brooke Shields
“Pretty Baby looks into the eyes of a growing Brooke as she reflects on a society that ‘objectifies women and girls,'” she said.
Lara adds that Brooke looks back on her career “recognizing and embracing her identity and agency.”

Speaking to People ahead of the documentary’s release, Brooke admitted, “There’s a lot in the documentary that they didn’t know.” As a result, she revealed she had a problem with her teenage daughters, Grier, 16, and Rowan, 15, explaining: “They were mad that I didn’t tell them all about it.”
The documentary reveals that three decades ago she was sexually assaulted by a powerful Hollywood executive.
Being so close to George and Ali Brooke, the documentary was certainly an emotional experience for all of them to make.
The celebrity couple often shares photos with Brooke on social media, and their families are very close. The couple has been married since 2001 and lives in New York With youngest daughter Harper, 17.
George has been away from GMA for a week
The couple are parents to their first child Elliott, 20, who is away at university. The family is incredibly close and Ali previously gave an insight into their home life.
Chatting with Harry Connick Jr, she said: “I have two girls. George is the only boy in the house. For some reason, they beat him all the time. He’s always wrong. He’s mean. He’s a loser, but in a loving way.”

The couple met after being set up on a blind date by mutual friends and it didn’t take long for them to get engaged after their whirlwind romance.
