Director of Campus Operations

Applications for this full-time position will be accepted until April 1, 2023.

The Director of Campus Operations will think and act strategically, build relationships and use strong business practices to further position Dunwoody as a community of choice in the region.

This position is responsible for the oversight of campus operations, including buildings and infrastructure, maintenance, grounds, security, environmental services, renovation and construction.

Candidates must be familiar with large and complex campuses, facilities and construction management, construction principles, practices and procedures, vendor and contract management, applicable health care-related laws and government regulations, management and oversight principles, and departmental policies and procedures. .

The successful applicant will have:

  • Embody and articulate the organization’s vision and mission within and outside the community
  • Uphold the Dunwoody Village Code of Conduct
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements including Department of Health, Human Services and Department of Life Safety.
  • Lead in a way that consistently promotes collaboration, trust, openness, honesty, integrity, empowerment and shared responsibility for success.
  • Demonstrate the leadership and management skills necessary to ensure that all departments provide exceptional service
  • Acting as the Organization’s Security Officer; Head of the security committee
  • Cultivate and maintain constructive communication with residents, employees, contractors and community members at large
  • Foster a workplace culture that attracts, supports, empowers and retains all members of campus operations

The following experience, education and credentials are required:

  • At a minimum, an Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent trade school education
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience in healthcare / CCRC with experience overseeing multiple large departments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of all energy management and plant installation systems including mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems. Demonstrated ability to read and prepare blueprints for installation, construction and repairs. Experience in construction projects is preferred.
  • Strong operational management skills combined with a commitment to creativity that enables continuous improvement in the quality, productivity and financial condition of facility operations.
  • Understanding and commitment to sound fiscal management including operational and capital budgets, A/P and charge captures.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Dunwoody Village is seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join its team, 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.

Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA Jobs include:

  • Providing exceptional care to residents, according to the approved Care Plan
  • Assisting residents in personal care and hygiene
  • Provide a safe environment for our residents
  • Compliance with all documentation and registration requirements
  • Must have Pennsylvania CNA certification and CPR certification
  • Possess excellent written/verbal communication, documentation and computer skills

Applicants must have current Pennsylvania CNA certification and CPR certification.

Long-term care experience is preferred but not required. Dunwoody Village will train caring individuals who demonstrate a strong desire to work with older adults. All interested full-time applicants must be willing to work weekend and holiday shifts.

Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its team for a full position from 3 to 11:30 p.m.

This position would also work as a nurse response to our Residential Life residents. Dunwoody Village is also happy to have new starting rates for all positions and will pay for experience!

Applicants must have at least one year of experience as an RN or LPN in long-term care, rehabilitation, memory care and skilled nursing. All interested full-time applicants must be willing to work weekend and holiday shifts.

Applicants must hold a valid Pennsylvania license as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse with CPR certification.

The primary duties of nursing are:

– Providing special care to residents according to the Care Plan

– Provide a safe environment for our residents

– Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements (using Point Click Care)

– Have excellent written and oral communication, documentation and computer skills

Dunwoody Village has an excellent nurse-to-resident ratio of 20 residents with the support of 2 to 3 certified nursing assistants. The rehabilitation floor maintains an even higher ratio by providing 2 nurses for 21 residents, supported by 3 certified nursing assistants.
